- 9. Buy fresh food rather than frozen food.
- 10. Healthy lifestyle, walk or ride bicycle to places within 1.5Km distances.
- 11. Buy organic food.
- 12. Modify the car to consume gas rather than petrol.
- 13. Teach kids about saving energy and water.
- 14. Plant trees. If you have a yard at home, plant some vegetables.
- 15. Work from home, use teleconferencing, internet video conferencing or even virtual world meeting to reduce the need for travel.
- 16. Avoid investment in industry that heavily emits carbon dioxide. Invest in firms that promote sustainability.
- 17. Use public transport when possible.
- 18. Use materials with less carbon foot print and high energy efficient. For example, when building house or wall, rocks should be preferred over bricks.
